In Outlook Express, there is
a setting to do just this. Most likey you have enabled the
feature and would like to disable it again. To do so, click
Tools, and click Settings. Select the Connections tab, and
uncheck the option "Hang up after sending or recieving". Then
click OK to save the settings.
This is usually caused by a large
email on the server. You can visit http://webmail.arn.net/,
login with your ARNet username and password, and view/delete
the conflicting mail.
Most likely this is due to a configuration
problem within your email program. Contact the ARNet
technical support office and have a technician go over
your settings.
Most likely this is due to a
typo in your username or password information. Delete and
retype both the username and the password to confirm the
information is entered correctly.
While unschedualed outages are
a possibility, this sort of problem is most likely due to
improperly configured settings, or corrupt software. Please
contact the ARNet technical support
office for assistance.
Always pay very very careful
attention to case, upper and lower, when working on the
Internet. Images, webpages and passwords will not work
if the case is incorrect. For example, if you call an
image image1.gif in the webpage and then name the image
ImAgE1.gIf, your page will not see it. If you name your
page INDEx.HtML, it will not show up.
